Disassembly start

In order to repair the USB part of the NintendoSwitch, it is necessary to separate the main unit.

USB-C Replacement work started

First, remove the broken USB parts from the board.
The USB attachment part of Nintendo Switch consists of 24 lands (contacts between the board and parts), 12 outside and 12 inside.
It is necessary to melt away not only the solder outside but also the solder hidden inside the part and remove the part.

It is a difficult task, but proceed carefully.

I was able to remove it safely!
Next, install new USB parts and check the power.

Assembly, operation check

Since the confirmation of energization was also successful, all you have to do is to assemble and check the final operation.

Conclusion

This time, only the replacement of the USB parts was fixed, but when the USB was removed, the inner land (contact between the board and the parts) may have been peeled off.
This is not a problem with removal work, but damage to the USB parts will strain the land and cause peeling.
